The website is hosted on servers of Hostinger International Ltd., 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

When you open the page, the server processes the data your browser transmits for this purpose and records it in log files:

• IP address
• date and time of the request
• file requested and amount of data transferred
• the page you came from
• browser and operating system

This is necessary to deliver the page, keep it running securely and fend off attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in the secure and stable operation of the website.

How long the logs are kept is laid down in the provider’s privacy terms; after the hosting contract ends, the provider deletes all data within 30 days.

A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hostinger; it forms part of the terms of service. Hostinger uses sub-processors for its operations, some outside the EU; the EU standard contractual clauses apply to those transfers.

The form in the “Contact” section sends your details to this website in encrypted form (HTTPS). A small program on the server (anfrage.php) immediately forwards them to my mailbox as an email; nothing remains on the server, not even a copy of the message. Only your name and email address are required; the type of project, timeframe and message are optional.

To keep out automated entries, the program checks a field that is invisible to people and accepts only a limited number of requests per hour. For this it merely counts; it does not record who wrote. As with every page view, your IP address appears in the hosting provider’s logs (see above).

If you write to me, I process your details (name, email address, content of the message) in order to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the enquiry concerns a quote or a commission, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; the legitimate interest lies in answering your message.

The mailbox kontakt@lastingvalueimgry.com is hosted by the same provider as the website (Hostinger, see above); the same data processing agreement applies.

I delete your messages as soon as the enquiry has been dealt with and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way. If a commission results, the retention periods under tax law apply.

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There are no visitor statistics, no advertising and no embedded social media content.

Typefaces, images and scripts are stored on the website’s own server. Opening the page therefore creates no connection to Google Fonts or to any other third party.

Consent under Section 25 of the German TDDDG is not required: nothing is stored on your device and nothing is read from it that is not needed to display the page. That is why no cookie banner appears here.

The reference to Instagram is an ordinary link. Data only goes to Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) when you click it. From then on, Instagram’s privacy policy applies.

You have the right of access to your data (Art. 15 GDPR), to rectification (Art. 16), to erasure (Art. 17), to restriction of processing (Art. 18) and to data portability (Art. 20).

Where I process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object on grounds relating to your particular situation (Art. 21 GDPR).

A message to the address given above is all it takes.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). The authority responsible for me is:
